Do I need an account to order?

No. Guest checkout is available on every order. Creating an account just makes it faster to reorder and lets you track past purchases.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Reach out within 2 hours of ordering and we can usually still catch it before packing starts. After that, jars are already boxed and we can't guarantee a change.

Is Cash on Delivery available?

Yes, for orders within Nepal only. International orders are prepaid at checkout.

How long does international shipping take?

7 to 12 business days to Australia, the UK, and the UAE. Southeast Asia usually runs faster, 5 to 8 business days. Customs can add a few days on either end.

What happens if a jar arrives broken?

Send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll replace it or refund that item, no questions asked.

How spicy is "spicy"?

The spice meter on each product page is relative to the rest of our range, not a universal Scoville scale. Dalle and Akabare sit at the top. If you're new to achar, start with Mixed Vegetable or Radish.

Are your products vegan?

Yes. Every product in our current range is vegan and vegetarian. Check the ingredients list on each product page if you have a specific concern.

Do you make sugar-free or low-sodium achar?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Traditional achar leans on salt and sometimes jaggery as part of the preservation process, not just flavor, so a low-sodium version needs a different method, not just less salt. We're testing a few small batches for a future release.

Is the mustard oil food-grade and safe to eat directly?

Yes. We use food-grade mustard oil meant for cooking and pickling, not the industrial grade sold for external use. It's the same kind used in Nepali kitchens for generations.

Can I return an opened jar?

Accepted Answer

Opened food items can't be returned for hygiene reasons. If something's wrong with the product itself (wrong item, spoilage, damage), contact us and we'll sort it out regardless of whether the jar's been opened.

How do refunds work?

Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of approval. Cash on Delivery orders are refunded via bank transfer or store credit, whichever you prefer.
